Greetings and salutations! I was born and raised in Canada and first came to Hong Kong in 2010. Graduating with an Honours Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Waterloo, I specialise in mathematics, chemistry, physics and English. I have been teaching ever since I arrived in Hong Kong and have worked at international, local and tutorial schools. I love finding ways to connect students with concepts, as well as taking part in their "ah ha!" moments. For you students out there, get comfortable, open your mind and get ready to learn!
Hi everyone! I teach the local school math for the Primary grades. I am a firm believer that with hard work and practice, anyone can master their subjects. I graduated from the University of Waterloo in Canada, but have lived here in Hong Kong all my life. I've been tutoring students math since secondary school (with the first being my younger cousins) and have been loving it since! Be prepared to avoid careless errors and learn from your mistakes, and I'll be sure to help you do your best!
I'm a native Mandarin speaker, specialised in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language for my bachelor’s degree and Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language for my masters from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. In addition to my academic training, I received my teaching certificates for both native Chinese speakers and speakers of other languages. I’ve been teaching since 2012 in public, international and tutorials schools following different curriculums such as primary programs, IGCSE and IB. In my classroom, students are always the focus. I believe education is more than knowledge itself and instead, it empowers students to be independent critical thinkers.
